Going gold for Gold Geese in September

Gold Geese are a local charity that support children with cancer and their families

September is childhood cancer awareness month. Every year Gold Geese, a local charity supporting children with cancer and their families, run a Go Gold campaign to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of childhood cancers. The charity has been a huge support to one of our members of staff and her family after her son was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2019. This year we would like to show our support to Gold Geese and Go Gold the last week in September, Monday 23rd – Friday 27th. All we ask is for the children to wear something gold/yellow to show their support and for a small donation (if you wish) to help Gold Geese continue to help local families affected by childhood cancer. We will also be sending home a colouring in competition for the children to take part in. All donations will go to Gold Geese, enabling them to continue the invaluable support they offer to childhood cancer patients and their families.

Family Fun Day

Richmond Pre-school is a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means that we operate a non-profit making organisation that helps the local community. In order to help improve the equipment and facilities we have it is very important for us to fundraise. In recent years we have held a family fun day in the summer term. They have been very successful and with monies raised we have been able to purchase much needed equipment and resources for the Preschool.
