Going gold for Gold Geese in September
Gold Geese are a local charity that support children with cancer and their families
September is childhood cancer awareness month. Every year Gold Geese, a local charity supporting children with cancer and their families, run a Go Gold campaign to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of childhood cancers. The charity has been a huge support to one of our members of staff and her family after her son was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2019. This year we would like to show our support to Gold Geese and Go Gold the last week in September, Monday 26th – Friday 30th. All we ask is for the children to wear something gold/yellow to show their support and for a small donation (if you wish) to help Gold Geese continue to help local families affected by childhood cancer. Friday 30th September we will be having a stay and play with a cake sale. ALL proceeds from the cake sale will go to Gold Geese, enabling them to continue the invaluable support they offer to childhood cancer patients and their families.

A very big thank you to everyone who came along to our cake sale stay and play and for all your kind donations, we raised a massive £644. Your generosity will help support local families fighting childhood cancer.

Stay and Play
We run several stay and play afternoons for you and your child to meet other parents and their children.

Family Fun Day
Richmond Pre-school is a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means that we operate a non-profit making organisation that helps the local community. In order to help improve the equipment and facilities we have it is very important for us to fundraise. In recent years we have held a family fun day in the summer term. They have been very successful and with monies raised we have been able to purchase much needed equipment and resources for the Preschool.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic we have been unable to have our annual Family Fun Day for the last few years. We are hopeful we will be able to hold another fun day in 2023. Watch this space......
